Pittsburgh, PA (April 15th, 2014) – Danny Holtgraver will make his return to Western Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competition this Friday and Saturday, April 18th & 19th; taking part in events at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park. The Western Pennsylvania racing circuit was ‘home’ to Holtgraver for many seasons before his transition into ‘racing on the road.’ Upcoming weekend action for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native will kick-off on Friday evening, April 18th at the Lernerville Speedway near Sarver, Pennsylvania.
Lernerville Speedway will be celebrating it’s 2014 ‘Fab-Four’ season-opener this Friday evening, April 18th; hosting all four of their weekly racing divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. Danny Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprinter, is a multi-time feature winner at the world-famous 4/10’s mile oval, as well as a former track champion; earning the championship crown in 2010. The current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions traveler will seek his first win of 2014 on Friday evening at the Sarver oval; taking-on the best that Western Pennsylvania has to offer. The ‘Fab Four’ event will also act as a very important warm-up for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ program that will be contested at the speedway on Friday, May 9th.
“I consider Lernerville Speedway my home track” said Danny Holtgraver, “I always love getting back there; no matter the occasion…a lot of my family and friends will be there on Friday so that makes it extra exciting…hopefully we can put on a good show and get this Hunter Racing ‘10H’ near the front…I just want to thank everyone involved with this team; especially Rob Hunter…this is a great deal we have going this year and without everyone’s help, none of it would be possible.”
Danny Holtgraver will make his return to the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania this Saturday evening, April 19th. Bonnell’s Rod Shop, a proud supporter of Hunter Racing and Danny Holtgraver for the 2014 season, is sponsoring Mercer’s program on Saturday evening; complete with a $4,000 top prize for the ‘410’ sprint cars. Holtgraver has been rather successful at the Mercer 3/8’s mile bullring during the recent stages of his young career. The pilot of the Hunter Racing ‘10H’ was undefeated at ‘MRP’ in 2013; going five-for-five at the facility which included two (2) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victories. Holtgraver hopes to continue that impressive Mercer Raceway Park win streak this Saturday night.
As an added special feature to the Bonnell’s Rod Shop sponsored program on Saturday evening at Mercer Raceway Park, Danny Holtgraver will have one of his Hunter Racing/Bonnell’s Rod Shop sponsored sprint cars on display for fans to see. Holtgraver racing apparel will also be available for purchase.
“Bonnell’s Rod Shop is a huge supporter of Hunter Racing this season so we definitely wanted to be a part of this race on Saturday…it’s going to be a great show” explained Danny Holtgraver, “Mercer has been really good to us so hopefully that continues…we were really good there last year and that definitely helps our confidence heading in there this weekend…We are going to have one of our cars on display which should be really fun for the fans…we will also have all of our apparel for sale, too…I just can’t thank everyone enough; I really can’t say it enough times…Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop; they make this team possible…hopefully I can return the favor and ‘park it’ this weekend!”
