Danny Holtgraver Ready For Two Full Nights With The World Of Outlaws Sprint Car Series!

Pittsburgh, PA (9/18/12) – After spending a weekend at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, and recording a third place finish during the annual ‘Jim Ford Classic’ sanctioned by the All-Star Circuit of Champions, Danny Holtgraver is ready to hit the road once again and compete with the best sprint car drivers on the planet. The full-time All-Star Circuit of Champions ‘Ohio Region’ competitor will race against The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this Friday and Saturday, September 21st & 22nd, for two full nights of action; beginning Friday evening at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio; and ending Saturday evening at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Both races will offer $10,000-to-win paydays, as well as full points towards the overall World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship. Holtgraver will have an opportunity to not only secure his first career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series win this weekend, but do so at his home track in front of his friends and family.
“This weekend is very important to us!” explained Holtgraver, “We have been working really hard and things have been clicking…hopefully we can keep all of our momentum rolling in the right direction and find victory lane this weekend…they are the best drivers in the world and to be able to race against them is just an awesome feeling!”
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native will pilot his own Danny Holtgraver Motorsports ‘D4’ this weekend for both World of Outlaws events. The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources ‘D4’ team, lead by Brian Kemenah, will kick-off the weekend at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Friday evening, September 21st. The ‘Four Crown Nationals’ at Eldora Speedway will once again feature World of Outlaws action during the Friday night portion of the weekend program. Holtgraver finished 19th at Eldora Speedway last season during this event. The three-time All-Star Circuit of Champions main event winner in 2012 will look to better that performance this Friday night.
“Eldora is a great place to race” said Holtgraver about Eldora Speedway, “We love going out there and hopefully we can better our results from last year’s Four Crown Nationals…this will be a great opportunity for us to prepare for the All-Star finale at Eldora in October…I can’t wait!”
On Saturday evening, September 22nd, Danny Holtgraver, and the entire ‘D4’ operation, will venture back to ‘home territory’ for the ‘Commonwealth Clash’ featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The $10,000-t0-win main event will round out the Ohio/Pennsylvania weekend swing for the World of Outlaws. Holtgraver, who is a former Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion, finished second with the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ during the annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup back in July. The Holtgraver Motorsports team hopes to better that performance with the World of Outlaws this Saturday by one position, and park the familiar ‘D4’ in Sheetz Victory Lane. The Pittsburgh based operation owns two World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series top 10 finishes at Lernerville Speedway; both occurring during Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup twin-feature action.
“The Silver Cup was unreal for us” said Holtgraver, “We just had a great night…everything clicked and everything fell into place allowing us to hard charge to a second place finish…nights like that help us stay motivated and determined for when the World of Outlaws come back to town…hopefully we can improve by one position this time!”
