Danny Holtgraver Will End 2012 At The World Finals

Pittsburgh, PA (10-30-2012) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and national ‘410’ sprint car rising star, Danny Holtgraver, will end the 2012 racing season in Charlotte, North Carolina this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, for the annual PEAK Motor Oil World Finals Presented by NAPA Auto Parts. The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources/Westview Motors/FullyInjected.com ‘D4’ team will travel nearly ten hours south to compete head-to-head with the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ this Thursday through Saturday; as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series also wraps up it’s 2012 season this weekend at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Holtgraver, who is a three-time All-Star Circuit of Champions winner in 2012, will compete in two complete shows this coming Friday and Saturday; each paying $10,000 to the winner, with Saturday night’s segment being aired on SPEED Channel. Thursday night will feature qualifying time trials only for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars.
“Charlotte is starting to become one of the biggest races of the year for us and I am super excited to get back down there” said Holtgraver about the World Finals, “Everybody wants to win down there…especially with Saturday being on SPEED Channel…it’s a huge deal for our sport and it’s a huge deal for us…ending our season with a win there would be incredible!”
Dirt fans from all over the world will flock to The Dirt Track at Charlotte Nov. 1-3, to witness the sixth-annual PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World Finals Presented by NAPA Auto Parts. Serving as the season finale for The Dirt Track, the World Finals features the stars of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the big-block modifieds of the Super DIRTcar Series as they come together to crown their respective series champions. Hotlaps are scheduled to begin at 4:00PM on Friday and Saturday, with Opening Ceremonies beginning at approximately 4:45PM. Opening Ceremonies on Thursday evening will begin at 6:00PM. Danny Holtgraver will enter this weekend with ten (10) wins on the season, as well as over twenty (20) top five (5) finishes. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native captured his first career All-Star Circuit of Champions victory in 2012; winning the $5,000 main event at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio during Ohio Sprint Speedweek. The pilot of the familiar ‘D4’ would back that up with two (2) more All-Star Circuit of Champions wins over Labor Day weekend; the first coming at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, and the second at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. Holtgraver also owns wins this season at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania.
