Knoxville, IA (August 4th, 2014) – Danny Holtgraver will be in action on dirt’s biggest stage this Wednesday through Saturday, August 6th – 9th; taking part in the 54th Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals presented by Caseys General Stores at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. Holtgraver, who will debut a new look for the $150,000-to-win marquee event, will attempt to earn a first-ever Knoxville Nationals ‘A-Main’ start this Saturday night; allowing for an opportunity to collect the world’s largest sprint car pay day. Holtgraver will kick-off his 2014 Knoxville Nationals campaign with preliminary competition on Thursday evening, August 7th. The pilot of the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprinter will need a successful qualifying night in order to earn a spot in Saturday’s A-main.

During recent sprint car competition, Danny Holtgraver participated in the 3rd Annual Capitani Classic at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa on Sunday, August 3rd. There were 71 cars in action for the $5,000-to-win program. Holtgraver earned his way into the main event through his respective heat race; finishing third officially with only the top three making the feature card. The pilot of the Hunter Racing 10H would finish 19th in the Capitani Classic; Ian Madsen earned the victory.
