Fremont, OH (September 6th, 2014) –  Over 50 sprint cars were signed in on Saturday evening, September 6th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio for the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series finale; 21 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars and 30 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series sprint cars signed in, officially. Two F.A.S.T. titles were on the line entering competition on September 6th, with Chris Andrews and Nate Dussel each leading the way in the ‘410’ and ‘305’ standings.

Dean Jacobs started on the outside of the front row and led all 30 laps of tonight’s Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service A-main event. Jacobs would hold off Cap Henry and Byron Reed for his first F.A.S.T. victory of the 2014 season; the win was worth $2,500. Byron Reed, who entered the evening second in the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series point standings, took command of the $10,000 championship after Chris Andrews came to a stop on lap 24 of the 30-lap A-main event. Byron Reed’s podium finish was good enough to solidify himself as the 2014 F.A.S.T. champion. Reed now has two-career Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service championships.

Nate Dussel ended his 2014 JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro campaign with a victory, and a second consecutive championship. Dussel’s 2014 F.A.S.T. title is worth $2,000. John Ivy, Paul Weaver, Jordan Ryan and Dustin Dinan rounded out the top-five during the September 6th main event.

Rob Chaney earned the fastest time of the night during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series qualifying time trials; recording an official time of 13.058 seconds around the Fremont oval. D.J. Foos, Dean Jacobs, Chad Kemenah and Cap Henry rounded out the top five in F.A.S.T. ‘410’ qualifying time trials. Brian Lay, Chris Andrews and Brandon Wimmer each earned victories during their respective heat races. Chad Kemenah was the evening’s F.A.S.T. dash winner; earning the pole position in the final F.A.S.T. ‘410’ A-main of the 2014 season.

During JLH General Contractors F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro preliminary competition, it was Jordan Ryan, Dustin Dinan, Kyle Capodice and Dean Jacobs, who participated in a ‘double duty’ throughout the evening, each earning victories during heat race competition. Ricky Peterson earned the evening’s F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series B-main victory; with Seth Schneider, Dan Hennig and Jason Keckler also transferring to the ‘A.’

Cap Henry and Paul Weaver are the most recent Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) Championship Series winners. Cap Henry earned his recent F.A.S.T. victory during Night #16 of the 2014 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ’410’  Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service schedule; back on Friday, August 1st at the Attica Raceway Park. Paul Weaver’s recent F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series victory also took shape at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio back on Friday, August 1st.

Looking Ahead:

The 2014 Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, November 1st at the Fremont, Ohio American Legion. This championship celebration is open to drivers, teams, fans and sponsors. More information will be posted in the near future.
