HANOVER, Pa. (February 20, 2024) – Like so many others within Pennsylvania’s open wheel contingent, “The Boss” JJ Loss and JKL Racing were expected to kick-off their 2024 agenda with Lincoln Speedway’s annual Icebreaker on February 24-25. Unfortunately, the team will now miss Pennsylvania’s coveted lidlifter, forced to sit on the sidelines due to unforeseen delays in their motor rebuild.
With all things considered, Loss, driver of the Next Level Signs & Graphics, Your Hometown Agents – Colby Jacobs & Neil Reichart Team, Diversified Cuts, Wolf’s Plumbing LLC, No. 67 sprint car, hopes to make his 2024 Lincoln Speedway debut sometime during the month of March.
“It’s just one of those situations where we can’t help but wait,” Loss explained. “We’re still working to expand our motor situation, but for now, we’re racing with one primary engine and it’s that engine that’s been delayed. DMY Performance does an incredible job and we know they’ll get us a working power plant as soon as the parts become available. Waiting a little while longer is a killer, but extra prep isn’t always a bad thing.”
Despite an obvious early season absence from Lincoln’s “Tee Shirt Alley,” Loss and JKL Racing fans should be reminded that “The Boss” merchandise is currently available online at www.jklracing67.com.
“The fan support has been incredible so far this year, and we haven’t even hit the track yet,” Loss added. “We’re excited to get this year rolling.”
