Diehl Automotive to help us honor the real Heroes on Armed Forces Night

Sarver, PA (May 22, 2014) I often describe our fantastic family of drivers as the Heroes of Fab Four Racing. And while they are heroes to many of us, the real heroes are those who sacrifice their lives, (both figuratively and sometimes literally), to protect our rights and freedoms. On Armed Forces Night, we pay tribute to those brave men and women who serve in our Armed Forces both at home and abroad, active and reserve duty and veterans of all ages. The Diehl Automotive Group is proud to sponsor Fab Four Racing on Armed Forces Night.

We’re privileged to have the 171st Honor Guard joining us to present the colors during Opening Ceremonies and Steve Monteleone from “It’s About the Warrior” will be on hand along with wounded veterans to help raise money and spread the word about their mission: We are committed to assisting Western Pennsylvania and the Tri-State Area’s post 9/11 veterans and their families. 100% of all proceeds go directly to our veterans. You can learn more about “It’s About the Warrior” on their website www.iatw.us.

The Diehl Automotive Group is the division sponsor of the DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modifieds and supplier of our Safety Truck. Diehl has showrooms in Butler and Robinson. Both locations offer Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram, while the Butler campus adds Toyota and Scion. Both locations have a wide variety of Pre-Owned vehicles. Log on to their website at www.DiehlAuto.com.

Speaking of the Diehl Mods, they will start the program Friday Night both in the heats and features, with the King father and son duo of Rex Sr. and Jr. leading the way in Budweiser Point Standings so far in 2014. Both have feature wins under their belt, as does All Time Division Wins Leader Brian Swartzlander. Defending Track Champion Mat Williamson is suffering the “Sophomore Slump” and finding the road to repeating as Track Champion a bumpy one! Perennial front runners and former Track Champions Dave Murdick and Jeremiah Shingledecker are still seeking their first feature wins of the season, while Dr. Brad Rapp, Mike Turner and Steve Feder are all still looking for their first career Lernerville feature wins.

The Precise Late Models, Peoples TWP Sprints and Pic-A-Part Sportsman will follow the Diehl Mods onto the Action Track with Budweiser Points leaders Russ King, Carl Bowser and Jim Fosnaught leading the way. Last week’s feature winners were Russ King, Jared Zimbardi and Jim Fosnaught. All Star Danny Holtgraver and PPMS Super Late Model Rookie Colton Flinner have declared their intent to compete in this week’s edition of Fast Friday on Social Media.

Adult general admission is $14, Seniors are admitted for $10, students 11-17 years old for $7 and children 10 & under are admitted FREE with a paying adult.
