GETTYSBURG, Pa. (May 17, 2021) – It will be a busy week for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, as the team prepares for not only a midweek appearance with the Greatest Show On Dirt, but the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania-native plans to compete in three states over three days beginning Friday at Williams Grove Speedway.

Dietrich will activate his long weekend, officially, with a visit to Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Swedesboro, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 18. As a former World of Outlaws winner at Bridgeport, topping the Greatest Show On Dirt on May 21, 2018, Dietrich hopes to better the best yet again in the Garden State and ultimately secure his second win of the season overall; Dietrich has been winless since March 13.

After a Yellow Breeches event at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 21, Dietrich will head further east and visit the recently revamped West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia, on Saturday, May 22. Featuring the FAST Series sprint cars, the Mountaineer Nationals program will award a $10,000 payday.

“Double-D” plans to cap his weekend road trip with a Sunday night stop at the always-racey Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, once again joining Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions for the third running of the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race awarding a $26,000 top prize.

Most recent results for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing include 12th and 15th-place finishes against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Williams Grove Speedway. Despite missing the top-ten during each of his weekend outings, Dietrich was consistent in Central Pennsylvania, earning a spot in each of the Morgan Cup main events by way of fourth-place runs during heat race competition.

“It wasn’t the weekend results we wanted, but you have to work with the cards you’ve been dealt. That’s all you can do. We’ll put it behind us and try again this week,” Danny Dietrich said, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Bowhunters Superstore, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, Graver’s Garage, Racer’s New & Used Parts, No. 48 sprint car. “I’m excited to get back to work tomorrow night at Bridgeport. We’ve been successful with the Outlaws there in the past and there’s no reason why we can’t do it again.

“Hats off to this entire team, as well as all of the fans,” Dietrich added. “With no fans, we would have nothing. The support we have in Pennsylvania is second to none and we appreciate every ounce of it.”
