Dietrich with back-to-back podiums; Set to chase Kevin Gobrecht Challenge and Classic titles

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (September 15, 2025) – Back-to-back nights in Posse Country resulted in back-to-back podium outcomes for “Double-D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, racing on to finish third in Lincoln Speedway’s $10,000-to-win Weldon Sterner Memorial on Saturday, September 13, followed by a runner-up result in Selinsgrove Speedway’s Jim Nace Memorial National Open on Sunday, September 14.

Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, RV 4 Wheel Drive & Performance, No. 48 sprint car, started seventh on Lincoln’s Sterner grid, doing his best to pressure the frontrunners in the closing laps. Although the Gettysburg native was ultimately denied his 12th win of the season, the weekend proved vital to Dietrich’s already impressive stat chart, now with 54 top-tens on the season, 40 of which occurring within the top-five.

Technically, Dietrich activated his weekend in Posse Country with Williams Grove Speedway’s Billy Kimmel Memorial on Friday, September 12; he was scored 11th.

“We’re still hunting number 12,” Dietrich was quick to note. “We’ll keep working and get there eventually. Hats off to this team and all of our supporters, fans, diehards…it’s been a fun season. We still have a long way to go, but I appreciate every ounce of support. We’ll do our best to get one for the Gobretcht Family this weekend.”
