Dietz and Godfrey Racing Hope to Benefit Local Charities During 2015 Season
Dietz and Godfrey Racing Plan to Enter All Williams Grove ‘358’ Events
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
York, PA (March 3rd, 2015) – The 2015 season will be action packed to say the least for central Pennsylvania youngster Chase Dietz. The high school senior will be piloting two different sprint cars for two different car owners during the upcoming year; driving the Scott Gobrecht owned no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car at the Lincoln Speedway, and the Troy and Tammy Godfrey owned no. 5 ‘358’ sprint car at the Williams Grove Speedway. Despite the busy schedule and endless commitment, Dietz still plans to ‘donate’ his time to others. Chase Dietz and Troy Godfrey plan to donate a percentage of their earnings after each and every event towards a local charity, or charities, of their choice. The team also hopes to find sponsors and supporters willing to match their 10% and also donate towards those charities. Godfrey Racing and Chase Dietz will be entering all of the scheduled ‘358’ programs at the Williams Grove Speedway.
“I would like to take the time to spread the word about this” explained Chase Dietz, “We plan on donating to charities throughout the 2015 season and I am in the process of finding sponsors that would also like to donate….the plan is to find a sponsor on each night we race that would be willing to match our 10% donation, or even more…on a normal night of racing, $100 would be the maximum amount of money a sponsor would have to donate, but they certainly aren’t limited to that…each sponsor will be given the opportunity to have their logo placed on the car on the night they decide to donate…I feel this is a wonderful opportunity for all businesses…gives them an opportunity to be a part of a great cause, as well as gain some great exposure…the donations are not limited to businesses… anyone can donate and we will make sure to have a donation jar available each weekend for all the fans to have a chance to donate as well.”
A few of the charities Chase Dietz and Godfrey Racing plan to donate towards include: Olivia’s House, Heather Baker Foundation, York County Racing Club, National Open Benefit, Central PA Food Bank, United Way of York County, American Cancer Society, and the Wounded Warriors Project.
“I also encourage people to donate on Saturday night’s at Lincoln while I’m racing Scott Gobrecht’s ‘410’” said Dietz, “People can donate wherever my merchandise is sold…this is a new idea…I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m sure more ideas will come up as this entire opportunity progresses.”
Chase Dietz and Scott Gobrecht will open their 2015 ‘410’ campaign this Saturday afternoon, March 7th at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Dietz and Godfrey Racing plan to ignite their schedule on Friday night, April 10th at Williams Grove Speedway.
