Dietz Looks Forward to ‘410’ and ‘358’ Action During Upcoming Weekend
Rolls Home 12th at Lincoln During ‘York County Racing Club Night’

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (April 28th, 2015) – The 2015 season will resume for Pennsylvania youngster Chase Dietz with a potential three-race swing planned for the upcoming weekend. The Spring Grove High School senior will enter ‘358’ and ‘410’ sprint car competition during the upcoming weekend, beginning with ‘358’ action at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 1st. Dietz, who pilots the Troy Godfrey owned ‘358’ sprinter during Williams Grove appearances, will continue to contribute to local charities on ‘358’ race nights; welcoming sponsors to add to the generosity and match his donations. Those interested should contact Chase directly.

The long weekend will continue for Chase Dietz on Saturday, May 2nd at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Dietz will be back behind the wheel of the Scott Gobrecht owned no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday evening; hunting for his first top-ten finish of the 2015 season. The 12th Annual Weldon Sterner Memorial will highlight the May 2nd event card; featuring a full program for the ‘410’ sprint cars including qualifying time trials. Chase Dietz finished twelfth after starting fifteenth during his most recent visit to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 25th. A fourth place finish during his respective heat race would automatically qualify Dietz for the main event. There were thirty-three ‘410’ sprints entered for ‘York County Racing Club Night.’

“It wasn’t a bad night for us last Saturday” said Dietz, “There was a pretty big car count so getting through the heat race was important…we ended up running fourth in our heat and twelfth in the feature…still short of a top-ten finish but we have a long season ahead of us…we work hard every single week and soon that will pay off.”

Although the plan is not yet set in stone, Chase Dietz and the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ team intend to make their way to the Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania on Sunday evening, May 3rd; planning to enter the ‘Sunday Night Sprint Car Special.’ A decision regarding Sunday will be made sometime during the week.

“If things go smooth, we’ll be at all three races this weekend” explained Chase Dietz, “Things have been pretty up and down this year but I don’t let that get me discouraged…Troy Godfrey and Scott Gobrecht each gave me a great opportunity this year and I can’t thank them enough…the ‘410’ deal has been a learning curve for sure…we’ve had a little bit of bad luck along the way too but we’ll get through that…hopefully things go well this weekend and we can earn some solid finishes on all three nights.”
