Doney-Lawson Racing to rejoin High Limit Racing in Midweek stop at Lucas Oil Speedway

ODESSA, Mo. (October 13, 2025) – It was a hard-fought weekend in Kansas City for Xavier Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars, and although the young man out of Odessa, Missouri, was unable to qualify for High Limit Racing main event competition on Saturday, October 11, Friday’s Heartland of America Showdown outcome at Lakeside Speedway was more than productive, eventually concluding his efforts with a Hard Charger Award.
Xavier Doney, ace of the Design Source Flooring, Schnee-Lawson Chassis, Motor Haven, MVP Logistics, T&T Equine, Prime Composite, Steve & Mandy Griffin Family, JDLawsonMedia, Stanton Racing Engines, No. 74 sprinter, earned the aforementioned Hard Charger Award with a seven-spot rally, concluding A-Main competition with a 13th-place finish from 20th on the grid. The Hard Charger Award pads an already impressive stat card for the now 20-year-old, who celebrated his birthday over the weekend, a stat card that includes two POWRi victories, most recently at 34 Raceway in late August.
Three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion, Sammy Swindell, was also in on the action at Lakeside Speedway, not only joining Doney-Lawson Racing in a second car, but resuming his role as team mentor. Swindell went on to qualify for each of the High Limit Racing main events.
Xavier Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars will resume action rather quickly, set to rejoin High Limit Racing in a midweek visit to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 15.
