Upcoming ‘Outlaw’ Swing Begins Wednesday at Limaland

Pittsburgh, PA (July 8th, 2014) – Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing will take-on the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on four (4) consecutive occasions beginning Wednesday evening, July 9th in Lima, Ohio; racing against the best sprint car drivers in the world at three (3) of America’s most respected and well known short track events. Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprinter full-time in 2014, will kick-off his four-race swing with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Wednesday evening, July 9th at the ‘Brad Doty Classic.’
Following his visit to Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on Wednesday evening, July 9th for the annual ‘Brad Doty Classic,’ Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing will venture even further west to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the infamous ‘Kings Royal;’ sanctioned by the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series. The 2014 edition of the ‘Kings Royal’ will launch on Friday evening, July 11th with the ‘Knight Before the Kings Royal’ preliminary event; featuring a full World of Outlaws program. The upcoming two-day Eldora Speedway weekend will be highlighted with the $50,000-to-win ‘Kings Royal’ on Saturday evening, July 12th. Holtgraver, who is a recent Eldora Speedway winner with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, qualified for the 2013 ‘Kings Royal’ at Eldora Speedway; finishing 19th officially.
Holtgraver’s upcoming four-race ‘Outlaw’ swing will come to a close on Tuesday evening, July 15th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The Don Martin Memorial ‘Silver Cup’ will be the featured program at the Sarver oval next Tuesday evening; with two (2), 30-lap/$10,000-to-win World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series main events highlighting the midweek show. Holtgraver, a former Lernerville Speedway track champion and recent main event winner, has yet to earn a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series main event victory, but will have two (2) opportunities to do so next Tuesday night in front of his home crowd. The Pittsburgh native’s best performance during a Silver Cup program was a runner-up finish back in 2012; earning the podium position during the first of two (2) twin features.

During recent sprint car competition, Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing recorded three (3) consecutive top-ten finishes. The six-time main event winner thus far in 2014 finished fourth (4th) with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio last Thursday evening, July 3rd; followed by a fourth (4th) place performance at the Hilltop Speedway near Millersburg, Ohio during an ‘open’ event on Friday, July 4th. Holtgraver’s most recent weekend in competition ended with a sixth (6th) place finish; this time with the UNOH All Stars at the NAPA Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio on Saturday, July 5th.
