Double-D impressive in Lincoln All Star victory; All of Ohio Sprint Speedweek next

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (June 9, 2025) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing were almost perfect in their weekend campaign against the All Star Circuit of Champions, not only earning a victory at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 7, but earning a runner-up performance just one night prior at Williams Grove Speedway – the product of a hard charge from 11th. In fact, the nine-spot rally earned Dietrich the evening’s Hard Charger Award, granted to the competitor who advances the most feature positions.
As mentioned, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, No. 48 sprint car, raced on to close out his All Star weekend with a victory at Lincoln Speedway, doing so from the outside of row five. An impressive feat, nonetheless, it was far from easy, as “Double-D” was forced to outduel Chase Dietz and Troy Wagaman Jr. in a near-three-wide battle at the white flag. The eventual Elijah Hawkins Memorial triumph earned the Gettysburg native an $8,000 payday, simultaneously increasing his win count to four on the season, now with 18 top-five finishes.
“Just a great weekend for Gary Kauffman Racing and a great momentum kick heading into Ohio Sprint Speedweek,” Dietrich was quick to note. “We’re excited to get to Attica on Friday and get things going. We weren’t sure of a plan at first, but what’s Ohio Speedweek if you’re not going to do the whole thing. It’s been a tradition of ours for a long time and we’re excited to continue that beginning Friday. Ohio fans are passionate and they’ve always treated us well. I’m ready to see some familiar faces.”

Earned victory at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 13. Earned three consecutive top-fives in starts at Williams Grove (Double Features) and Lincoln Speedway on April 18-19; fifth, third and second. Finished ninth in Port Royal Speedway’s Keith Kauffman Classic on Saturday, April 26. Finished third at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 27.
