KNOXVILLE, Iowa (August 12, 2024) – It was a hard-fought effort in the Hawkeye State for Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), eventually concluding their 2024 Knoxville Nationals attempt with a B-Main start in the four-day finale on Saturday, August 10. Eliason, who rallied ten positions to finish 14th in his respective preliminary A-Main on Thursday, August 8, finished seventh in Saturday’s B-Main, commencing action from row two.
Although short of attaining a starting position in Saturday’s 50-lap “Granddaddy Of Them All,” Eliason and RSR are content with their Knoxville Nationals performance, already setting aim on a West Coast road trip with High Limit Racing that begins August 15 at Thunderbowl Raceway.
“It was our goal from the start to make Saturday’s A. That’s what everyone is there to do. Unfortunately, we were a little short, but we had a solid package all week and we’re content with our progress,” Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, said. “Can’t thank Brian and Lisa Ridge enough for the opportunity. This program is still relatively new, but it’s been a great experience and I’m extremely grateful. Here’s to a big trip on the West Coast.”

Ridge & Sons Racing and Cory Eliason [No. 8] will continue their 2024 campaign with a High Limit Racing West Coast Swing through California, Oregon, and Washington beginning with stops at Thunderbowl Raceway, Kings Speedway, and Placerville Speedway on Thursday through Saturday, August 15-17.
