By Fully Injected Motorsports:
MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (May 5, 2025) – Despite Mother Nature keeping the team from hitting the highway, another weekend at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, did Cory Eliason and TKS Motorsports some good, capping their evening at the Sprint Car Capital of the World with a top-five result – their first of the 2025 season. Eliason, certainly no stranger to Knoxville’s sweeping corners, finished fourth in his Saturday night appearance, commencing main event action from the pole position.
“Super proud of this entire team…slowly building that notebook for August,” Troy Renfro, owner of the TKS Motorsports, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “We intended on making the trip to Eldora, but with the weather so risky, we decided to stay home and it paid off. Hats off to Cory [Eliason]…the confidence continues to build and we’re excited for another busy week.”
