KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 23, 2024) – It was a competitive two days at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, but for Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), it was an opportunity to pad the stat book, and pad is what they did, eventually concluding the two-day High Limit Racing 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, with a top-ten on Saturday, September 21. Eliason, who now owns 30 top-tens on the season, finished ninth to secure his achievement, rallying a pair of positions from row six.
The Visalia, California, native qualified for the $15,000-to-win main event with a runner-up finish during heat race competition, launching the entire program with the fourth-fastest time within his respective group.
Unfortunately, the team was unable to qualify for Friday’s BeFour The Crowns Showdown.
“It was important to us to close out the weekend with a solid run at Eldora Speedway, so I’m happy we were able to achieve that,” Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, said. “Not a lot left on our High Limit agenda, but we hope to close out the year with some great runs, especially with a lot of money on the line.”
