KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 3, 2024) – The 2024 High Limit Racing West Coast Swing is officially in the books, and for Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) and Cory Eliason, the trip was productive, as well as accomplished, concluding the last half of the trip with a trio of top-ten finishes, all of which capped with a 13th-place score in the $102,626.26-to-win Skagit Nationals on Saturday, August 31. The three-day Skagit Nationals program, the largest in the Northwest, commenced on Thursday and Friday with back-to-back preliminary contests. Eliason was consistent in the entire stretch, concluding preliminary action with 12th and eighth-place finishes, respectively.
As noted, Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprinter, scored three top-tens in his final week on the Pacific coastline; sixth at Douglas County Dirtrack in Roseburg, Oregon, on Monday, August 26; tenth at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington, on Wednesday, August 28; and the aforementioned eighth at Skagit Speedway in Burlington, Washington, on Friday, August 30.
“A consistent stretch for our team and I’m proud of our accomplishments. It was great to spend some time on the West Coast,” Eliason, a native of Visalia, California, explained. “It’s a short turnaround this week with all of our attention back on Pennsylvania. Ready to get back to Port Royal Speedway and contend for another big payday.”
