WARSAW, Ind. (January 15, 2025) – Residents and visiting non-residents of Speedway, Indiana – known to most of the motorsports world as the home of Indianapolis Motor Speedway – can now enjoy the luxury of commuting on a golf cart, made official after a Speedway Town Council vote on November 25. The ordinance allows the legal use of golf carts on select approved streets by individuals who are 18 years and older, hold a valid operator’s license, and provide proof of financial responsibility.
