Speedway Australia – owner and operator of World Series Sprintcars – and ENZED have today announced that the successful naming rights partnership ENZED has with World Series Sprintcars will continue for the upcoming season.
ENZED has been a partner of World Series Sprintcars for the past two seasons, and re-entering a naming rights partnership for a third season is a win-win situation for both ENZED and World Series Sprintcars, following its successful television debut season on One with over 4.2 million viewers, nation-wide.
“The support of ENZED throughout the 28th edition of World Series Sprintcars ensures the series will continue to grow and thrive,” said WSS Race Director, Shane Collins.
“The commitment of ENZED to support and back World Series Sprintcars subsequent to the 25th season of WSS has paid dividends for all involved in the partnership.
“The incredible progression of ENZED World Series Sprintcars’ support around the nation and the world, and of course, the spectacular television viewing numbers has the series in a great position heading into the upcoming season.
“With ENZED’s continued support, World Series Sprintcars can continue to grow and prosper in the Australian motorsport landscape.
“ENZED has firmed itself as a great supporter of Speedway Racing in Australia – and we are proud that our strong partnership with ENZED will be continuing into the upcoming season.”
The ENZED World Series Sprintcars Launch took place at ENZED Hendra, Brisbane. The event was hosted by Chad Neylon and Bennie Bishop.
Special guests included contracted drivers for the upcoming series – including the reigning Australian Sprintcar Champion, Dave Murcott, ENZED World Series Sprintcars veteran, Darren Jensen, along with the current Queensland State Champion, Andrew Scheuerle.
The opening Round of the ENZED World Series Sprintcars season is on Friday 26 December 2014, at Adelaide’s Speedway City.
