Double-Duty On Saturday at Fremont

Fremont, Ohio (April 15th, 2015) – The 2015 season continued for T.J. Michael last Friday and Saturday evening, April 10th & 11th at the Attica (OH) Raceway Park and Fremont (OH) Speedway; entering ‘305’ sprint car action at the Attica bullring, as well as ‘410’ and ‘305’ competition at Fremont Speedway. Michael, a Plano, Texas native who calls northwestern Ohio home during the busy summer months of his racing schedule, earned two top-five finishes during the recent weekend; including a fifth place finish during the ‘410’ sprint main event at the Fremont Speedway season opener last Saturday, April 11th. The two-time ‘305’ winner already in 2015 landed on the podium last Friday night, April 10th at Attica Raceway Park; finishing third during the 25-lap, ‘305’ sprint feature.
“We had a pretty good weekend again so I can’t complain about that” said T.J. Michael, “We’ve been building some momentum and that’s really important to us as a team…we have a ton of racing left this year, and having momentum and confidence behind us will take away a lot of the pressure…I can’t thank my guys enough for what they do for me…My Dad, Scott, Dennis, Blake…our results and consistency wouldn’t be possible without them…we have another busy weekend ahead…I can’t wait.”
T.J. Michael will return to action this Friday and Saturday at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway; participating in back-to-back Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) events to help open the 2015 F.A.S.T. season. The pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, no. 8M ‘410’ sprinter, and the Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, no. 18 ‘305’ sprint car, will kick-off the upcoming weekend on Friday evening, April 17th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. T.J. Michael will participate in the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series opener on Friday night in Attica, Ohio.
“The F.A.S.T. deal is really nice…gives teams an extra incentive to race close to home here in the upper part of Ohio” said Michael, “We got a F.A.S.T. win last year in the ‘305’ at Fremont…hopefully we can get a few more of those this year.”
The Texan will return to ‘double-duty’ on Saturday evening, April 18th at Fremont Speedway. Michael will join the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ and F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprints at the Fremont oval, and will search for his first Fremont Speedway victory of the 2015 season. T.J. owns victories at Gator Motorplex (TX) and Attica Raceway Park (OH) thus far in 2015.
