Fremont, OH (July 1st, 2014) – Night #10 and Night #11 of the 2014 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service schedule will take shape this Friday and Saturday, July 4th & 5th; with Ohio’s most competitive ‘410’ sprint car teams making appearances at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars will first visit the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday evening, July 4th; to help initiate the upcoming holiday weekend. The series will then visit the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, July 5th. Each night will feature a full program for the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprinters; awarding full points towards the $10,000 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service championship.
Nineteen (19) drivers are eligible for the $10,000 F.A.S.T. winner’s share, with Chris Andrews on top of the pile with one (1) victory and 1060 points. Caleb Griffith, a fellow one-time winner with the series in 2014, finds himself second (2nd) in the current championship standings entering the upcoming weekend; trailing Andrews by less than thirty (30) markers with 1034 points. Byron Reed, the only driver inside the top-five of the current standings without a victory, sits third (3rd) in the F.A.S.T. championship with 1022 points. Although Reed has not been victorious during Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. competition thus far in 2014, his consistency still allows for a chance at the overall championship. Brian Lay, the only repeat series winner in 2014 with two (2) victories, and Craig Mintz, the defending F.A.S.T. champion, round out the top-five in the current standings.
Congratulations to Travis Philo; the highest full-time F.A.S.T. competitor in the final ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ standings. Philo ended his 2014 ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ campaign fifth (5th) in the final standings. His efforts earned himself $500 from Kistler Racing Products. Philo is currently sixth (6th) in the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service standings.
