Dan Kuriger and Mat Williamson win their second features of 2015
John Flinner and Wayne Carbo return to Victory Lane for the first time since 2011
Sarver, PA (July 10, 2015) You could actually see blue skies tonight at Lernerville Speedway after battling rain for more than a month trying to get races in. Dan Kuriger started the night off by winning his second Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprint feature of the season in a high speed chase through lapped traffic and then held off All Star Andrew Palker on an open track during a handful of late race restarts. The Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Model feature was exciting, but for most of the wrong reasons; a lot of carnage suffered by a lot of cars. After mid-race contact with leader Mike Pegher Jr., John Flinner was never again seriously challenged en route to his 42nd career Late Model feature win; his first since winning the now defunct All Star Late Model feature in April of 2011. Mat Williamson used a late race pass to steal a Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Northeast Modifieds win away from Jeremiah Shingledecker who looked stout leading 23 laps before settling for second. The night came to a close with Wayne Carbo in Victory Lane for the first time since August 2011, after a hard fought battle with Mike Miller in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman.
