FAN ACCESS ADDS TO 1-800 CARCASH MUDSUMMER CLASSIC EXPERIENCE
Eldora Speedway’s Second Running of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Offers Interaction

ROSSBURG, OH (July 19) — Fans attending the 1-800 CarCash Mudsummer Classic, the second running of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) only event on dirt, will experience even more access to the drivers, teams and trucks on Tuesday and Wednesday (July 22 & 23) at Eldora Speedway.

Tuesday afternoon (July 22), the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Garage Area will be open to Wednesday ticket holders from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. During the rare “Open Garage” period, fans will get unprecedented access to some of the most critical moments for any NASCAR event as the NCWTS teams will undergo pre-race inspection and prepare for their only dirt track assault of the season.

Fan access to the two-hour open garage area will be via Gate 4, the same gate utilized by the race teams. Upon showing their Wednesday event ticket, race fans will be required to sign the standard Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement and issued a wristband. There are no age restrictions, although any person under the age of 18 will also be required to have a Parental Consent/Legal Guardian Consent form completed. Spirit Ambulance will provide ambulette service for fans requiring assistance crossing the tricky dirt surface that will be undergoing preparation for Tuesday night’s Sunoco American Late Model Series event.

On Wednesday (July 23), the entire entry roster will hold a Driver Autograph Session in the Multi-Purpose Building located in the Fan Zone. A tight race day schedule guarantees 150 guests with wristbands through the line beginning at 1:45 p.m. Wristbands are achieved by registering at the Chevrolet Performance display area in Eldora’s Fan Zone beginning at 9:30 a.m.

At 2:50, the Chevrolet Performance showcase will be abuzz as Eldora owner and three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart steps in for a lively ‘Question and Answer’ session. Immediately following Stewart will be United States Auto Club (USAC) drivers Bryan Clauson and Bobby East.

Selected fans will then be able to attend and listen to the mandatory pre-race Driver and Crew Chief meeting in the Multi-Purpose Building at 3:30 p.m.
