Philo in action at Attica Raceway Park – Rick Rarer Photo

Fully Injected’s Travis Philo will be back in action this weekend for two full nights of ‘410’ sprint car competition in the Buckeye State. The Bowling Green, Ohio native will be competing with the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title series again this weekend on Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th; guaranteeing top-notch ‘410’ sprint car competition and respective car counts in Northwestern Ohio.

Friday night’s stop will take place at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio – with Saturday night’s destination set for the usual Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. Philo has been an active competitor with the Northwest Ohio based mini-series so far in 2012, while also making appearances at regional All-Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events. The FAST Series has not been in action since May 18-19, leaving Philo, and the rest of the active FAST competitors, anxious to get back on track and kick start the month of June. Dale Blaney and Dean Jacobs are the most recent FAST winners.

Travis Philo currently sits 14th in the series standings entering this weekend’s double header. The twenty-one year old pilot of the familiar black ‘5T’ has suffered from plenty of up and down luck in the first part of this 2012 season, and looks to change that this weekend and put the Philo Motorsports ‘5T’ in victory lane. Bryan Sebetto currently sits on top of the FAST standings with two wins in 2012. Including this weekend’s scheduled stops, there are 12 races left on the 2012 FAST schedule; plenty of time for Philo to climb up in the standings and capture a victory. This month will also host FAST events on Friday, June 15th, and Saturday, June 16th!
