FASTRAK Northeast sanctioning in place for Steel City Stampede Finale 

Sarver, PA (April 3, 2013) On Sunday, April 14 Lernerville Speedway will run the remaining events of the FASTRAK Northeast Late Model “Steel City Stampede” event that was rained out after the conclusion of heat races and the dash on October 26, 2012.  

All qualified cars that return will retain their qualified position.  In the event of some cars not returning, other qualified cars will be moved up to fill the voids.  The remaining feature starting positions will be filled through two B mains.  Drivers who were present at the original race will start in their respective B main positions.

In the event the car owner of record chooses to replace the original driver with a different driver, car will start scratch ahead of any new cars.  In all cases, the original entered car owner will receive prize money.

Any new cars in attendance will be permitted to attempt to qualify by starting in the B mains behind those drivers previously entered.   New cars in attendance will draw for starting order in the rear of the B mains. 

Show-up points were previously awarded for FASTRAK Northeast Touring competitors, no additional points will be awarded and 2012 Point Standings will not be affected.  

This is a continuation of the 2012 FASTRAK event and all 2012 FASTRAK rules will be in effect.  The event remains a 30-lap feature paying $2,000-to-win.

B Mains (8 laps if less than 10 cars, 10 laps if 10 or more cars).  Top 2 finishers from each B main will transfer to the feature.  Additional cars may transfer if additional cars are needed to fill 24-car starting field.
