PORTSMOUTH, OH (October 19, 2012) – The first night of the 32nd Annual Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship presented by Borrowed Blue at Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park was postponed by rain on Friday Night. Persistent rain showers and falling temperatures forced officials to move the entire Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program to Saturday.
The schedule of events for Saturday, October 20th is as follows: the gates will be cleared at 11am and re-open at 12 noon. The drivers meeting will take place at 12:30 PM followed by LOLMDS hot laps at 1 PM. Red Buck Time Trials will immediately follow hot laps with six heat races to follow.
There were 92 cars entered before Friday’s postponement, however, any additional entries will be accepted up to the drivers meeting at 12:30 PM.
Saturday Night’s program will consist of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series B-Mains, the $4,000 to win Modified Feature, the $50,000 to win Red Buck Dirt Track World Championship Feature, and the $3,000 to win Jim Dunn Memorial Non-Qualifier’s Race.
