Elida, Ohio (December 30th, 2014) – “Florida is a go” said Max Stambaugh, the 2014 Limaland Motorsports Park ‘360’ sprint car championship runner-up, “We are anxious to get 2015 started!”

‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh, an Elida, Ohio native and full-time NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders competitor, will make the trip to East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa, Florida this February, and compete with the ASCS National Tour for three full nights of competition during the ‘King of the 360’s’ weekend. The ‘360’ sprint car invasion is scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 19th, and will be highlighted with the annual ‘Ronald Laney Memorial’ worth $10,000 on Saturday, February 21st.

“This is really exciting” said Max Stambaugh, “The ‘King of the 360’s’ is a prestigious event…some of the best teams in the country will be there; especially with the ASCS National Tour being a part of it…we have a lot of sponsors that support this team…without their help, the trip south would not be possible…I really want to thank ‘Specialized Therapy’ for their help with this race team…they are a new sponsor and will play a huge part…they are helping make our trip to Florida possible.”

Stambaugh, who pilots the Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, ‘360’ sprinter, will take on a new car number beginning in February. The nineteen-year-old will now support a ‘5M’ instead of the late ‘6M’ due to recent team changes. They will display the ‘5M’ during their entire 2015 season.

“I am going back to my old number ‘5M’” said Stambaugh, “We had some sponsor changes…allowed us to go back to my old number…maybe the number change will bring us some additional luck…we’ll see soon enough.”
