Four Races in Five Days for Brent Marks Racing!
Marks Earns Pair of Third Place Finishes on May 8th/9th

Myerstown, PA (May 11th, 2015) – After canceling their recent Eldora Speedway trip due to poor weather forecasts, Brent Marks Racing will finally have the opportunity to join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Brent Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, will go head-to-head with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ this Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for four complete programs in Pennsylvania and New York. ‘The Myerstown Missile’ has been one of the most consistent drivers in central Pennsylvania in 2015 and looks forward to using that momentum this week when the ‘Outlaws’ invade.
“We wanted to go to Eldora Speedway (OH) in the worst way but had to pull the plug” explained Brent Marks, “The weather was ‘iffy’ and the forecast didn’t look good for most of the weekend…we decided that our best option was to stay close to home where the weather looked good and it paid off…we plan to race with the World of Outlaws as much as we can this year and that all begins this weekend…we’ve been pretty good so far this year…hopefully we can use that momentum this weekend and try to beat the Outlaws.”
Brent Marks will follow the World of Outlaws for five days; competing in four separate events at three Pennsylvania and New York venues. Marks will kick off the upcoming week at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday evening, May 13th; competing in the annual ‘Gettysburg Clash.’ From there, Marks will follow the ‘Outlaws’ to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for back-to-back programs on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th. The Williams Grove Speedway visit will be highlighted with the annual ‘Morgan Cup’ on Saturday, May 16th. The weekend will conclude with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series sanctioned ‘Empire State Challenge’ on Sunday, May 17th at the Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York.

During recent sprint car competition, Brent Marks earned a pair of third place finishes in central Pennsylvania. ‘The Missile’ finished third on Friday evening, May 8th at the Williams Grove Speedway during the ‘Outlaw Tune Up.’ The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native followed that up with a third place finish at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 9th.
