Christopher Bell and Jimmy Colvin Earn Victories at Fremont Speedway During Night #2 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. Season

Fremont, OH (April 19th) –
There were twenty-six (26) Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service sprint cars signed in for action at the Fremont Speedway on Saturday evening, April 19th. Craig Mintz recorded the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials; with 12.556 seconds being his official time around the Fremont Speedway oval. Broc Martin, Stuart Williams, Chad Kemenah and Christopher Bell rounded out the top five fastest qualifiers. Bryan Sebetto, Brian Smith and Dean Jacobs all earned F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series heat race victories. Chad Kemenah was the F.A.S.T. dash winner; earning the pole position for the thirty (30) lap main event. The evening’s B-main was won by Brian Lay.
Christopher Bell earned the 30-lap, $2,500-to-win, Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win. Chad Kemenah, Broc Martin, Craig Mintz, Byron Reed, Caleb Helms, Chris Andrews, Stuart Brubaker, Brian Lay and DJ Foos rounded out the top ten. 33M, 40DD, 46AU, 7, 5T, 2+, 60, 4K, 17, 312 rounded out the field (11th – 20th).
History Note: Tim Shaffer was the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series winner during night #1 of the 2014 season. ‘The Steel City Outlaw’ earned the 2014 F.A.S.T. opening night victory on Friday evening, April 18th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.
Future Reference: Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will be back in action next Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.
Twenty-three (23) JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro sprint cars signed in for competition at Fremont on Saturday evening, April 19th. Bobby Clark set quick time during F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series qualifying time trials. Dustin Dinan, John Ivy, Tyler Gunn and Steve Rando rounded out the top five fastest qualifiers. Jason Keckler, Luke Griffith and Alvin Roepke each earned F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series heat race victories. B-main action was conquered by Paul Weaver.
Jimmy Colvin earned the 25-lap JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro main event win. John Ivy, Steve Rando, Dustin Dinan, Jordan Ryan, Bobby Clark, Tony Beaber, Nate Dussel, Alvin Roepke and T.J. Michel rounded out the top ten. 1W, 68G, 12, 25, 36, 10, 11G, 2, 22M, 22D rounded out the field (11th – 20th).
History Note: John Ivy earned the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series victory during night #1 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. season. The former Fremont Speedway dirt truck and ‘305’ sprint car track champion recorded the 2014 season opening victory at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday evening, April 18th.
Future Reference: JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro action will continue on Friday and Saturday, May 16th and 17th at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.
