Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native, Gregg Satterlee, timed in 37th quick last night of 112 entries at the World 100 at Eldora Speedway. Scott Bloomquist set a new Eldora World 100 Track Record of 15.009 seconds to set the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials. Heat race action tonight, along with B-main transfers, will determine the 30 starters in tonight’s $44,000 to win, World 100. Satterlee, the Fully Injected late model hotshoe, will start 7th in heat race number 2 later this evening.
Silver Dollar Speedway’s ‘Gold Cup’ preliminary action saw Paul McMahan pick up the World of Outlaws win over Jason Meyers and Shane Golobic. Over fifty cars were signed in for the Gold Cup Race of Champions event at Silver Dollar Speedway. The $8,000 victory was Paul’s fourth of the season with the World of Outlaws. Justin Sanders set quick time with a 12.468 over Jason Meyers and Brad Sweet.
Port Royal Speedway’s Living Legends evening action was cancelled last night due to ongoing rain showers. The call was made at roughly 8:15 PM to cancell the evening’s event. There were 36 sprint cars in the pit area when the show was cancelled.
Danville, Indiana native, Danny Smith, grabbed his 16th win of the season last night at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. The victory was worth $2,500.
