The weekend weather outlook doesn’t look much more promising than it did last weekend; but, hopefully, if mother nature does decide to crush Lernerville Speedway’s hopes and dreams of getting a race in this year, she does it quick and painless so I may scoot along to Attica Raceway Park for the first night of the double header- All Star Circuit of Champions Ohio Region opener. A little birdie told me this week that some “travelers” may be headed to the northern Ohio 3/8’s mile. My Attica backup plan also will depend on a positive weather forecast Friday morning. Being that I can not attend the Saturday night portion of the weekend, Id hate to have to drive 3 hours by myself to watch it rain and then have to turn around and come home; but who am I kidding- it wouldn’t be the first time.
