Fully Injected’s most recent winners, Brandon Matus and Rod George, in conversation at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway earlier this year.

Danny Holtgraver just wrapped up his first night competing at the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals. Unfortunately, the luck of the draw would put the Pittsburgh native towards the rear of the qualifying order. Danny’s high pill resulted in a late qualifying spot; which usually translates into having a slower racetrack to time on. With the inversion coming into effect, Danny’s qualifying time allowed him to start on the front row of his heat race; which ended with him finishing just one position short of a transfer spot in 5th. The defending Lernerville Speedway Track Champion ended his night in the Last Chance Showdown. He will be back in action tomorrow night for the Race of Champions.

Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania will play host to most of the Fully Injected competitors tomorrow night; with Mercer Raceway Park opening their doors to all sprint car drivers and teams on Saturday night. Team Fully Injected, lead by last week’s winners, Rod George and Brandon Matus, will have a large number of representatives at those two facilities this weekend. Brandon Matus is coming off of his first career feature win last weekend- and will look to double that score this upcoming weekend at one of the two western PA dirt ovals.

Adam Kekich will be the star of this month’s “Fully Injected Behind the Scenes.” Next week, Fully Injected will be taking the camera to the Hermitage, PA based Kekich family race shop for a small tour and interview. Adam is new this year in the 410 ranks and is still chasing his first win as a competitor at the Mercer Raceway Park on a weekly basis.

In central Pennsylvania, Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedway’s will be hosting sprint car competition for both the 358 and 410 divisions. With many of central PA’s teams out west competing for the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals title, some new names and faces may be making trips to victory lane at both of those facilities this weekend. Cory Haas, a former 358 competitor out of York, Pennsylvania, will look to put his 11c back in victory lane this weekend. Haas earned the biggest win of his career earlier this year during Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek with Fully Injected decals on the wing; a $7,000 payday was the spoil for his big win at Lincoln.

Fully Injected’s Joey Zambotti will be at his first Pro National event of the season this weekend. New Berlin, New York is the destination for the Kittanning native this Friday and Saturday; as he will be competing with the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship Series at the Unadilla National at Unadilla MX.
