Team Fully Injected had another near perfect performance tonight at the Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile clay oval known as Lernerville Speedway. Rod George lead the way; earning a runner-up finish in tonight’s 25 lap sprint car feature event. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s, Danny Holtgraver, earned a solid third place finish – after rallying from a 11th place starting position. Kittanning, Pennsylvania’s, Kevin Schaeffer, also had an impressive performance this evening at Lernerville Speedway; earning another top 5 finish to add to his list in 2011. Kevin came home 4th.
Fully Injected youngster’s, Brandon Spithaler and Brandon Matus, were also on hand this evening. Evan City, Pennsylvania’s, Brandon Spithaler earned a top 10 finish in tonight’s sprint car feature event. The newly turned 20 year old finished 8th among a strong field of contenders. Spithaler would also earn a heat race victory.
Brandon Matus, who recently turned 17, didn’t have quite the positive luck that Spithaler achieved; as mechanical issues would cause the Wampum, PA native to fail to make the feature event. Fully Injected’s, Scott Priester, would be involved in a early feature race tangle, but would still manage to finish just one spot shy of a top ten run. Carl Bowser was officially crowned as the 2011 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion tonight at the conclusion of the racing events. There were 27 sprint cars signed into the pit area.
