Thirty year sprint car veteran, Rod George, out of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, added another victory to his 2011 season last night at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. George started deep within the sprint car feature lineup; coming from the sixth row to grab the 25 lap event win. This was his second 410ci win of the year at the Saturday night venue. George is in track championship contention at both Mercer Raceway Park and Lernerville Speedway.

Fully Injected teammate, Scott Priester, continued with his recent Mercer Raceway Park success last night by finishing third in the sprint car main event. This was his second consecutive top 10 performance of the weekend. Fully Injected youngsters, Adam Kekich and Brandon Matus, also added success to the FI weekend by both bringing home top 10 performances at MRP; Kekich was 9th while “The Wheelman” Matus was 10th.
Tyler Walker, the kid from Los Angeles, California, won the historical Kings Royal last night at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The young man ran second to three time World of Outlaws Champion,Sammy Swindell, for many laps in the $50,000 to win, 40 lap main event; all before disaster struck for the Germantown, Tennessee native. Swindell would cut a tire with just a few hundred yards to race- leaving Tyler Walker with the victory, and Swindell with a runner-up finish. Walker, a California native who now races full-time in Pennsylvania with the Pennsylvania Posse aboard the Keen Transport, Peterbilt Trucks number 17, continues to show the entire world that he still belongs in a sprint car. This win will certainly add some luster to the already impressive Walker resume.
