FOREST, Ohio (November 11, 2024) – It’s been an impressive stretch for Ray Marshall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, and despite his most recent weekend of competition resulting in victory, scoring a USAC National Sprint Cars triumph at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma, on Friday, October 25, the car owner out of Forest, Ohio, has decided to call it a career.

An impressive final season, nonetheless, Ray Marshall, owner of the Matt Westfall guided, Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprinter, known to most as the Bumblebee Express, fielded a car that would go on to score 13 top-ten finishes in 2024, five of which within the top-five with three victories to boot, the aforementioned Red Dirt win included. The USAC score in the Sooner State by Westfall gave Marshall his second USAC victory in just over a year, nailing down a $10,000 Texarkana 67 win in September 2023.

“It’s been a pleasure to be a part of this sport for so long, but I think it’s time to call it a career,” Ray Marshall said. “I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by so many great people over the years; drivers, team members, partners included. A lot of great memories were made and I’ll have those to cherish forever. I want to thank Matt Westfall for his hard work and dedication in my final years as a car owner. He’s accomplished so much and I’m proud of everything he’s been able to do. Here’s the next chapter.”
