Grandview, Williams Grove, Port Royal All Ahead for Danny Dietrich
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
GETTYSBURG, PA. (July 25, 2016) – With the Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway officially in the books, resulting in back-to-back main event starts against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, finishing as high as 18th, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich will now return to the drawing board and prep for three starts during the upcoming week, all beginning with action at the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday evening, July 26. The midweek program will feature the second annual Thunder Cup for the 410 sprint cars worth $5,000, as well as the remaining events from the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek date which was halted due to Mother Nature.
“Our weekend against the Outlaws was a little frustrating, but those things happen,” Danny Dietrich explained. “We’ll wipe the slate clean and try again tomorrow when we get to Grandview. I can’t thank my guys enough for what they do. Even when things get difficult or frustrating, they keep working and stay focused. I appreciate their work ethic.”
After visiting Grandview Speedway on Tuesday evening, Danny Dietrich will move ahead and ready himself for visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway this Friday and Saturday, July 29-30. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native is currently second in the Williams Grove Speedway championship chase, trailing Greg Hodnett by 150 markers moving into the last weekend of July. Dietrich owns one victory at the world famous half-mile in 2016, finishing 20th during his most recent start on July 23 during the $25,000-to-win, Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals finale.
“We have some things we want to improve on, but we’ll get that done this week,” Dietrich said. “We have a lot of season left. Plenty of time to get this team a few more wins.”
