BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (October 30, 2023) – Another season has come and gone for Benton Ridge, Ohio’s Greg Wilson, but there’s still one stop to make, and that stop is in Concord, North Carolina, where the former two-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion will join the Greatest Show On Dirt for the season-ending World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on November 1-4.
Wilson, ace of his own Greg Wilson Racing, Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 sprint car, will roll into The Tar Heel State with two victories under his belt, one of which accomplished during IRA Outlaw Sprint Series action at Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and the second during Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) competition at Silver Bullet Speedway in Owendale, Michigan. The pair of wins only pad an impressive 2023 stat sheet that also includes 19 top-ten scores, nine of which accomplished within the top five.
Speaking of top ten, Wilson’s most recent highlight is a tremendous drive at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, climbing from 20th to ninth in Eldora Speedway’s 4-Crown Nationals featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions.
“It’s a big stage at the World Finals and we’re excited to be a part of it,” Greg Wilson said. “To my family, my supporters, and of course, my great partners, thank you for getting us this far. It was a bumpy road in 2023, but we accomplished a lot and I’m proud of our efforts. We’ll roll into the World Finals with the intent to conclude our season with three great finishes. I know we’re more than capable of accomplishing that goal.”
