BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (November 6, 2023) – It was a tough four-days in the Tar Heel State for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, but despite missing main event action during the World of Outlaws World Finals, the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native will roll into the off-season with a full head of steam, excited about the future with two top-notch victories padding their winter momentum.
Although Wilson was short of earning a main event start at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, the former two-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion and recent IRA and Great Lakes Super Sprints winner had plenty of shining moments, one of which an eight-position charge in Thursday’s Last Chance Showdown.
“It’s a special weekend for all of racing and we were thrilled to be a part of it,” Wilson, ace of the Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 sprint car, said. “To represent all of our partners on such a big stage is important, and although we didn’t reach our potential, it was a great experience and we’re already excited for the next opportunity.
“So very blessed to have the support that we do,” Wilson added. “My family, and everyone at Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics…they make the wheels turn and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them. We’re already looking ahead and we’re ready to see what the future brings.”
