BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (July 31, 2023) – Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing put it all together in their recent trip to the Badger State on July 28-29, not only securing back-to-back top-ten scores against the IRA Outlaw Sprint Series, but capturing a Plymouth Dirt Track victory in the process – a dramatic accomplishment that commenced from sixth on the grid, ultimately concluding with a last lap takeover. The 3rd Annual Road America Challenge win, Wilson’s first of the season, earned the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native a $5,000 payday, crossing the line by a margin of victory equaling .026 seconds.

Adding to his weekend stat sheet, Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, No. W20 sprint car, followed up his Plymouth triumph with a top-ten at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, on Saturday, July 29, finishing ninth in the final rundown after starting 12th on the evening grid. With all results considered, Wilson’s top-ten sweep bumped his season’s top-ten tally to 11 total, six of which occurring within the top-five.

“What a weekend for this team. To accomplish this with just my girls here and no other crew is really special. Their love and support is what keeps me going,” Greg Wilson explained. “This goes out to everyone who helps keep this dream alive…Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics, DNC Hydraulics. They’re not just partners, they’re family. We’re working to do this a few more times this year.”
