BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (May 2, 2023) – Despite a slow start to his 2023 agenda that has been plagued with wet and cold weather, Benton Ridge, Ohio’s Greg Wilson is about to hit high gear, ready to take on the best in the country in an action-packed tripleheader throughout the Buckeye State.
An extended weekend, nonetheless, Wilson’s highly-anticipated triple will blast off officially with a weeknight visit to Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Thursday, May 4, joining the All Star Circuit of Champions in the $10,000-to-win The Night The Stars Come Out. Certainly no stranger to All Star competition, Wilson is a former two-time Series champion, most recently joining “America’s Series” in Attica Raceway Park’s annual Spring Nationals in mid-April.
Once action in southern Ohio is complete, Wilson and his Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 team will turn northwest and visit the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6. Dubbed #LetsRaceTwo weekend, the two-day program will be highlighted with two, full days of World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition, also featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars on the weekend bout card.
“It’s been a really slow start to the year, but it looks like things will finally make a turn for the better this weekend,” Greg Wilson stated. “We’re ready to get back to work and hopefully get this W20 where it needs to be. The weather hasn’t given us much opportunity to really get our program figured out, but I’m confident we’ll be able to rely on old notes and put a solid effort together.
