BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (September 26, 2024) – Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing are certainly no strangers to the Greatest Show On Dirt, and with the Series making their final Ohio appearances of the season Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, one can bet the Benton Ridge native will be entered for action.
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will visit Wayne County Speedway in Orrville on Friday before venturing to Sharon Speedway in Hartford on Saturday.
“That’s our plan,” Wilson, regarding his schedule, stated. “We’ll keep an eye on the weather and if we’re forced to find a backup plan, we’ll do it, but as of now, our focus is on the World of Outlaws. There’s always a lot of hype and excitement surrounding their events, especially in Ohio, so it’s a great stage to be on, especially for our partners. It should be a great weekend.”
Wilson, a recent IRA Outlaw Sprint Series winner and ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, will roll into the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series pair with a stout stat sheet, not only earning the aforementioned IRA triumph at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, but securing 19 top-tens this season, 16 of which occurring within the top-five. Recent highlights include a pair of top-fives at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
