Indiana, PA (January 28th, 2014) – After a rather successful 2013 campaign, which saw Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native Gregg Satterlee earn two (2) World of Outlaws Late Model Series victories (7/30 & 8/31) and an Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek Series championship, ‘The Truth’ will look to continue that momentum and kick-off his 2014 campaign by spending another month of February in Georgia and Florida. Satterlee, who will pilot the Satterlee Petroleum Distributors, Valvoline, Keyser Manufacturing, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Robby Allen Enterprises, no. 22, Rocket Chassis in 2014, will go head-to-head with the best that dirt late model racing has to offer this February; including the stars and cars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

The plan of attack for Gregg Satterlee and the entire ‘22’ team will begin with an invasion of Sylvania, Georgia for two nights of competition on Friday and Saturday, February 7th and 8th at the Screven Motor Speedway. The 4th Annual ‘Winter Freeze’ event will consist of two complete shows for the super late models on February 7th and 8th; each awarding $12,000 to the main event winner. Saturday’s program will be sanctioned by the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series. Race teams will have the opportunity to ‘test’n tune’ their equipment on Thursday evening, February 6th. Those seeking additional information can do so by checking out Screven Motor Speedway on the web at www.screvenmotorsportscomplex.com.

After a weekend stop in Sylvania, Georgia for the ‘Winter Freeze,’ Gregg Satterlee and company will travel even further south to the East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa, Florida for six (6) nights of super late model competition; lasting from February 10th until the 15th. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be hosting the 38th Annual ‘Winternationals’ at the East Bay bullring during that time span; with some of the nation’s top super late model pilots all expected to be signed-in. All six nights will feature a full super late model program. February 10th & 11th will feature $5,000-to-win main events; February 12th & 13th will feature $7,000-to-win main events; and February 14th & 15th will each feature $10,000-to-win programs. This will be Gregg Satterlee’s first start at East Bay Raceway Park behind the wheel of a super late model. Check out more information pertaining to the 38th Annual “Winternationals” by logging on to the official online home of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series; www.lucasdirt.com.

February wouldn’t be February without a visit to the Volusia Speedway Park near Daytona Beach, Florida for the annual DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment. Satterlee will make his way into Volusia Speedway Park on Monday, February 17th and stay until Saturday, February 22nd. Six (6) nights of super late model competition, sanctioned by the UMP (2/17-2/19) and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series (2/20-2/22), awaits Gregg Satterlee and the entire ‘22’ operation. The week-long super late model invasion will also help close out the 2014 DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park; which also features the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series ‘410’ sprint cars. For more information, please visit the DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment on the web at www.dirtcarnationals.com.

Although Gregg Satterlee’s February plans seem permanent, everything will still depend on the team’s current condition and racing results . If the visit to East Bay Raceway Park does not prove to be worthwhile, then there is still the possibility that Satterlee may make an appearance at the Bubba Raceway Park near Ocala, Florida on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 14th through 16th; competing with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series before invading Volusia. The Satterlee Petroleum Distributors/Valvoline/Keyser ‘22’ team is not committed to any certain schedule this February; they are simply heading south to “race…and put themselves in contention to win races.”
