York, PA (June 10th, 2014) – Central Pennsylvania will be invaded by an outside sprint car touring series this Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th; giving ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ regulars the opportunity to once again defend their pride, and their home dirt, against an invading force. Cory Haas, a recent back-to-back top-five finisher during central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competition, will take-on the outside invaders on both nights; looking to score his first ‘410’ win of the 2014 season.

The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, backboned by a traveling roster made up of Tim Shaffer, Danny Holtgraver, Caleb Helms, Jac Haudenschild, Andrew Palker and current point leader Dale Blaney, will invade central Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th; sanctioning events at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday; and the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Each event will award $5,000 to the main event winner and will award points towards the overall UNOH All Star national championship.

Cory Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Tailgaters Grill & Drafthouse, Classic Rock Custom Stone, no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter, has been on a roll in recent weeks, and looks to use that momentum this weekend against ‘America’s Series.’ Haas recorded two-consecutive top-five finishes at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 30th and Friday, June 6th; finishing second (2nd) and fourth (4th) during main event action. The York, Pennsylvania native also recorded a top-five finish at the Lincoln Speedway on Saturday evening, June 7th; finishing fourth (4th) officially at the feature finish.

The Michael Barshinger ‘11C’ team will enter the upcoming weekend eleventh (11th) -up from 18th- in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS point standings with 184 points. Cory Haas, a former eight-time Williams Grove Speedway/Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion, completed the 2013 season twelfth (12th) in the final Central Pennsylvania standings. Haas had one victory last season.
