Haas ends Williams Grove season with back-to-back top-tens; Port Royal and Lincoln on deck
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
YORK, Pa. (October 8, 2018) – Cory Haas made it look easy on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, turning a pair of starts into a pair of top-ten finishes during feature competition.
Haas, driver of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/Eagle Evergreens/Wicked Cushion/No. 39 sprint car, finished fourth and sixth, respectively, on Friday night at the world-famous half-mile, highlighting his evening with a sixth place run during the $5,077-to-win, Al Hamilton Tribute make-up feature.
Haas has shown promise during Williams Grove Speedway starts all over the second-half of his 2018 campaign. The York native earned the Billy Kimmel Memorial title for the third time in his career over Labor Day weekend and finished 12th during the World of Outlaws National Open on September 29.
“The second part of the year has definitely been motivating for John Trone and I. With positive results comes momentum and fun,” Cory Haas explained, a two-time winner in 2018. “We don’t have a ton left on our schedule this year, but we’ll do whatever we can to get another win in Central Pennsylvania.”
Up next on the schedule, Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will visit the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ on Friday, October 12, followed by an afternoon start at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, October 13.
Haas will enter every Port Royal Speedway program for the rest of the season.
