YORK, Pa. (July 22, 2019) – Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will enter Summer Nationals competition at Williams Grove Speedway fresh off of a pair of top-ten finishes in Pennsylvania Posse Country, one of which accomplished at The Grove during the $8,080-to-win, Mitch Smith Memorial main event on Friday, July 19.

Haas, driver of John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/York PB Truss/Old Republic Distillery/Creekside Auto Sales/Bricker’s/Wicked Cushion/No. 39 sprint car, finished eighth during his visit to Williams Grove Speedway, maintaining a spot within the top-ten after starting seventh on the grid.

Haas highlighted his recent weekend with a podium performance at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 20; the result of an impressive rally after starting on the outside of row four.

“A weekend like that certainly builds momentum and confidence for our team. I should go on vacation more often,” Cory Haas said, who just returned from vacation before checking off back-to-back top-tens. “Hats off to this entire team. John Trone provides us with great equipment and I certainly appreciate all of his efforts. I think we have the speed necessary to put on a show this weekend. We’ll do our best against the Outlaws on ‘home dirt.’”

Hunting a first-ever victory against the Greatest Show On Dirt, Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will next take-on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series during the annual Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday, July 26 & 27. The William Grove Speedway blockbuster will award a top prize equalling $20,000 on Saturday night; Friday’s preliminary will award $8,000.

Haas qualified for last year’s Summer Nationals preliminary main event by winning the evening’s Last Chance Showdown.
