CHICORA Pa. (May 24, 2022) – George Hobaugh and Hobaugh Motorsports had the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visit to Sharon Speedway circled on their calendar since the event was announced, but unfortunately, Mother Nature stepped in and ended all hope, ultimately forcing the program to be canceled. The Greatest Show On Dirt is set to return to the Hartford, Ohio, oval in September.
Despite the weather interference on Saturday, Lernerville Speedway’s Friday night Fab4 program went on as scheduled with Hobaugh securing a top-ten outcome. Lining up third, Hobaugh hung on to finish eighth in the non-stop feature.
“It’s pretty disappointing that we didn’t get to race at Sharon with the World of Outlaws. We’ve been looking forward to that event all season. I think we have that place pretty figured out, so we were excited to give our notes a shot,” Hobaugh explained, a recent top-five performer at Sharon Speedway against the All Star Circuit of Champions. “We’ll just have to wait until September.”

George Hobaugh and Hobaugh Motorsports will continue their 2022 campaign with a Fab4 visit to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday, May 27.
