CHICORA, Pa. (April 25, 2022) – Chicora, Pennsylvania’s George Hobaugh and Hobaugh Motorsports are ready to take on the All Star Circuit of Champions during the coming weekend, joining “America’s Series” during starts at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, and Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, respectively. The weekend pair will award $6,000 each.
Hobaugh, ace of the Krill Recycling, Laskowski Plumbing, Ridgeview Security, Hobaugh’s Auto Parts, Colliers Custom Kitchen and Bath, No. 40 sprint car, is certainly no stranger to All Star Circuit of Champions competition and has been successful with the Tony Stewart-owned organization in the past. In fact, Hobaugh recorded one top-five result with the Series in 2021, finishing fifth in Sharon Speedway’s Ohio Sprint Speedweek date after starting from the pole position; there were 53 cars in attendance.
“I think we’re ready to go. I don’t think we have the momentum that we wanted heading into the weekend, but we have the knowledge and experience to make something happen. I’m excited to be back with the All Stars,” Hobaugh explained, a former winner at Sharon Speedway. “A big thanks to all of our partners. They are the real reason we can come out here and do this. We’re hoping to represent them, as well as our hometown fans well.”
ON DECK:
George Hobaugh and Hobaugh Motorsports will continue their 2022 campaign with an All Star Circuit of Champions doubleheader weekend on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30. Hobaugh will join “America’s Series” at Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Sharon Speedway on Saturday. Each program will award a $6,000 payday.
