Rain and Two Winners
Williams Grove Speedway sprint car action fell victim to rain on Friday evening, May 4 following the completion of time trials.
Saturday night the weather was better and both Lincoln and Port Royal Speedway’s got their shows run. Cory Haas took his 2nd win of the year at Lincoln Speedway and in the series, while up at Port Royal Speedway Rick Lafferty picked up his first win of the year.
The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series continues Wednesday night May 9th when the World of Outlaws return to Lincoln Speedway. The World of Outlaws then shift to Williams Grove Speedway Friday and Saturday May 11th and 12th. Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal Speedway will both be dark Saturday night May 12th.
Greg Hodnett leads the points over Danny Dietrich and Brian Montieth.
