Lernerville Speedway’s “Steel City Stampede” came to a close this evening; ending all sprint car competition in western Pennsylvania for the 2011 year. A solid field of 19 – 410 sprinters were signed in for the much anticipated weekend event; which was highlighted with a 25 lap, $3,000 to win sprint car finale.

Fully Injected had a solid weekend at the Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile; ending with two drivers finishing inside the top 5 of the sprint car main event. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Danny Holtgraver, finished 4th in the 25 lap feature event; with seventeen-year-old, Fully Injected teammate, Brandon Matus, finishing 5th. Holtgraver and Matus kicked off their ‘Stampede’ weekend by finishing 1-2 in their respective heat race; with Holtgraver earning the victory over Brandon Matus.

Dale Blaney was the evening’s sprint car main event winner; earning a second ‘Steel City Stampede’ belt to add to his impressive career resume’.
